I've just joined this message board and am writing to say hello! A friend just gave me a Chambers stove model #11BZ4. Its in geat condition. So, Ive been reading the archives of this board and sent off to Todd for the service manual in getting ready to do a complete clean-up of my Chambers. I look forward to getting to know you folks through this board. From reading over the posts I have a feeling there's a wealth of information based on experience shared among our members. I look forward to tapping into that knowledge base but. . . will you still talk with me if I tell you I don't like oatmeal?

Welcome Tom - A model BZ huh? You will be so pleased with your new stove, even if you don't like oatmeal. How about rice? The T-well makes excellent fluffy rice too!
Have you picked out a name yet?

Welcome to the group, and congrats on your cool "new" stove.
I think we'll be able to overlook your feelings toward oatmeal... somehow. We've all got our little problems to overcome.

ahh, but not all Oatmeal is the same...v
Just wait till you really start cooking in the T-well. quick batch of biscuits a breeze. tonight (really around 1:00) I browned some pork chops in the big pot on a burner, added almost a cup of water, marinade, potato, carrots and a can of cream of mushroom soup. Yum, Yum for supper, just dish it up (I spooned it and the juice over a bed of raw spinach)...v

Welcome, Tom, from another set of newbies.
Husband loves oatmeal, wife prefers -- y'all don't give me a hard time -- grits!!
No matter the food, everyone seems to agree it tastes best cooked on a Chambers!
